Welcome To Our Younger Learner Program In Hua Hin

At Rose Academy, we are excited to introduce our Younger Learners Program—a nurturing and engaging environment designed specifically for children aged
1-5 (6 year olds if they need additional support before advancing to primary).

We understand the importance of building a strong foundation for the 21st-century learning that our older learners thrive on, and we believe that starting early with playful, creative, and project-based learning is the key to success.

OUR ETHOS: PLAYFUL LEARNING, REAL-WORLD SKILLS

We are committed to fostering a love for learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Our curriculum focuses on developing essential life skills in English, math, and basic science. Through creative activities like storytelling, games, art, and project-based learning (PBL), we encourage our younger learners to engage with the world around them in ways that spark curiosity and build foundational skills.

We believe that every child learns best when they are excited and motivated by what they’re doing. In our program, we focus on developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills, ensuring that our youngest learners are ready to move confidently into the future.

MEET OUR DEDICATED COACHES

Our team of dedicated coaches brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education, life coaching, and working with children with special needs. With a personalized and caring approach, they are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued and supported. Our coaches encourage collaboration, self-expression, and curiosity, creating a safe and stimulating environment where your child can grow.

WHY PROJECT-BASED LEARNING

Our Younger Learners Program uses Project-Based Learning (PBL) to create meaningful, engaging, and hands-on experiences that help children develop critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills. PBL allows children to explore real-world topics—whether it's discovering how plants grow, exploring different animals, or learning about their community—and actively participate in their learning journey. We see this approach as the perfect blend of structure and flexibility, providing children with opportunities to explore and learn at their own pace while gaining valuable knowledge and skills.

IMPORTANCE OF PLAY IN EARLY LEARNING

We recognize that play is a child’s natural way of learning. In our program, we use play as a powerful tool to teach concepts like colors, shapes, body parts, and more. Play-based learning allows children to develop cognitive, social, and physical skills in a fun and engaging way. Whether they are sorting shapes, building with blocks, or role-playing, children are gaining the essential foundations that will help them excel in more structured learning environments later on.

OUR APPROACH FOR LEARNERS AGED 1 to 3:

Montessori Meets Rose's Values

At Little Rose Academy, we blend the best of Montessori methods with our Rose philosophy of holistic growth, emotional well-being, and kindness. Your little ones will be encouraged to:

🌱 Explore at Their Own Pace: Each child is given the freedom to follow their interests and make choices, sparking creativity and independence.

🌱 Hands-On Learning: From stacking blocks to sensory play, we offer age-appropriate, tactile activities designed to develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and a deep understanding of the world around them.

🌱 Caring and Calm Environment: Our classrooms are peaceful and designed to allow children to learn with a sense of calm, just like in Montessori, but with the warmth and nurturing touch of Rose's family-like environment.

OUR APPROACH FOR LEARNERS AGED 3 to 6:

Learning through play and projects

🌱 For our 3 & 4 year olds, we focus on basic English skills like letters and phonics, simple counting and math concepts like shapes and patterns, and foundational life skills such as recognizing colours and body parts. Science is introduced through exploring nature, animals, and the environment around them.

🌱 For our 4 & 5 year olds, the program deepens into core subjects like English (reading, phonics, and vocabulary), math (numbers, counting, addition, and subtraction), and science (learning about plants, animals, and the world around us). This creates a well-rounded early education that sets them up for success as they progress into higher grades.

From the age of 5 based on their ability - We begin with our Cambrilearn Program, getting them ready to join our Primary international programs from age 6.
